Dr Rupal Naik MBBCh, Dip Derm (Cardiff) is Medical Director, GiGi London-MA.

Dr Rupal is a practising GP and a partner in one of the UK’S largest surgeries, with 26,000 patients. She is also a highly qualified doctor in cosmetic medicine, with a speciality in dermatology.

Dr Rupal has a thorough understanding of the needs and objectives of her clients. She is committed to the philosophy that helping patients to look and feel their best is the most effective way for managing stress levels, improving their health and self-confidence as well as their outlook on life in general. Dr Rupal and her sister Sujata have established two clinics in Wales, to which, until now, clients have travelled from London and beyond to receive treatments personally from Dr Rupal.

Consultation: for Medical Aesthetics and/or IPL Treatments

We have a firm belief in providing client satisfaction by offering detailed information about the treatments and giving appropriate advice and guidance for selecting the correct procedures. An explanation of the results that can be achieved is fully discussed at the first consultation.

Consultation: Dr Rupal or her personally trained qualified practitioners complete a free initial consultation, worth £65, for every client, when a personalised treatment plan is designed for you, together with details of the timescale and cost of treatment.

The consultation is important in order to discuss what you want and how the non-surgical treatments offered can help you to achieve your objectives. We take a full medical history, and other treatments that may be suitable to help you achieve your objectives are highlighted. Depending on your skin condition, you may require a more detailed medical consultation with Dr Rupal, which costs £65 to £120.

Our ‘See and Treat’ policy: Many clients come along to their first consultation and are very pleased when they are able to have some treatment on the same day. However, if there are medical reasons, such as sun exposure or medication being taken, which make this inappropriate, you will be advised accordingly.

‘Before and After’ photos: When you have decided to go ahead with your treatment plan we take your photographs in order to be able to record the 'before and after' effects of the treatment. A follow-up visit is booked to check the response to the treatment, take the 'after' photographs and assess the need for any further treatments.

Confidentiality: All treatments are completely confidential. We also check if you are happy to receive mail from GiGi London-MA.

A deposit is required to secure an appointment when booking a treatment. 24 hours notice is required for cancellation or the deposit will be kept. 

Prices: You will be advised at your consultation of prices for the treatments that are recommended. Dr Rupal will also explain the timescale for your treatment programme in order to achieve the best results.

• Wrinkle Injections: Botox  for line and wrinkles, hydro-phoresis (excessive sweating).

• Dermal Fillers: Restylane, Restylane Lipp, Restylane Vital, Perlane .

• Non Surgical Face-Lift: using Radiesse you can receive a full/partial non-surgical facelift.

Skin Rejuvenation and other conditions:  

• Medical Chemical Peels are very effective treatment of the face, neck and décolletage. We offer a range of peels:

• Dermaceutic  Milk Peel: a combination of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid for  aiding rejuvenation and reducing pores, fine wrinkles, and acne. 

• Dermaceutic Spot Peel for aiding rejuvenation and reducingpigmentation, sun pots, pores, fine wrinkles, acne

• Dermaceutic Cosmo Peel / TCA Peel for rejuvenation, pores, wrinkles, improving skin tone

• Microdemabrasion:

• Salt-A-Peel: A painless, effective, truly "lunchtime treatment" with no down-time or post–treatment redness or swelling. There are immediate results, your skin will look and feel rejuvenated and healthy. At your consultation a treatment programme will be designed according to your needs and skin problems. This may involve up to seven treatments at fortnightly intervals. Microdermabrasion using the Salt Microdermabrasion system gently removes the stratum corneum, the outer most layer of skin which is essentially comprised of dead skin. This is done using healing natural salt that leaves the skin much smoother and readily able to absorb vitamin and antioxidant treatment masks. This first stage on its own improves the skin texture and due to its unique delivery system does not leave redness and discomfort that some microdermabrasion methods create.

This system can be used to improve skin on face, hands, arms, thighs, stomach and buttocks for a number of conditions including:

• Blue diode light is used to penetrate the skin’s surface layers to destroy bacteria in sweat pores and glands

• Red diode light is effective treatment helping the skin’s elasticity, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and plumping the skin as it stimulates the skins ability to generate it’s own collagen.

Both red and blue light can be used simultaneously for example if you wish to reduce lines and wrinkles and treat late onset acne.

A full medical history is taken and your skin closely inspected and if there are any lesions that need attention and referral to a specialist you will be advised. Before and after photographs are essential to monitor the progress of your skin. Dr. Naik will also advise you on the course that the treatment will take and estimate the number of treatments needed.

A test patch is done and then treatment stated a few days later. It is important that the area to be treated is not exposed excessively to the sun prior to treatment and that no fake tans or self tanning products used as this will prevent treatment being started. Your full signed consent is always obtained before treatment.
