Studio Update from 1st November 2023

Changes at Pilates Central

Dear Clients,

We’ll be making some exciting changes in the studio from 1st November 2023, including:

  • Longer opening hours on weekdays
  • New online booking system – but you can still book the old way if you prefer
  • New choice of class length: either 60 or 90 minutes
  • New prices – but can still save money overall

Longer opening hours on weekdays

The studio will from 1st November onwards open continuously from 7.30am to 9pm Mondays to Fridays – and no longer close, as previously, from 2-3pm on these days.

We will, meanwhile, continue to open the same hours on weekends: 8.30am to 2.30pm on Saturdays and 8am to 7pm (closed 2-3pm) on Sundays.

New online booking system
(but you can still book the old way if you prefer)

For those who prefer to book online – which many clients have told us they would – we are now providing a new online booking system to make it even easier to book and pay and keep track of your sessions.

Those, on the other hand, who prefer to continue booking in the same way they always – either in person or on the phone – will still be able to do so.

New choice of class length: either 60 or 90 minutes

Some clients have told us they like classes to be 90 minutes, as they are now, while others say that they would prefer shorter classes of just 60 minutes, in order to save both time and money.

We are therefore now introducing the option to book either 90-minute or 60-minute classes, whichever you prefer.

(All private or one-on-one classes will continue to be 60 minutes.)

New prices – and how you can still save money overall

There will unfortunately also be some small price increases – our first price rise in over two years of high inflation and, at times, rocketing energy and running costs.

We hope and feel that we still offer good value for money and excellent tuition from our highly qualified staff.

The 90-minute sessions will now cost £64 for a single class and £545 for ten classes (£54.50 per class). The 60-minute classes will be £45 for a single class or £400 for ten classes (£40 a session). There are further discounts on each type/length of class for buying either 20 or 40 classes at a time.

Private classes are £80 for a single class or £720 for ten (£72 per class), and £1,360 for 20 £68 per class).

The 60-minute sessions are at limited times and there are limited numbers of them.

We know that times are hard for many right now.

We hope that this is another advantage of our new, 60-minute classes, since those who need to keep costs down will, by switching to 60-minute classes (which they might also prefer for time reasons anyway) be able to do the same number of classes each week but while spending less on Pilates and saving money overall.

As you can imagine, a transition from one booking system to another could create some teething problems and we hope you can bear with us during this period.
